Humble Laura didn’t tell many people she enter because she was sure she wouldn’t win and was just happy to be involved in the competition, so much so when her boyfriend told her he placed a 20Euro bet on him she had told him it was a waste and should have been put in a charity box.

Recent trends indicate Brazilian Bikinis are becoming more popular amongst Irish consumers as girls dare to bare while in the privacy of their homes or on distant sunny beaches. The Brazilian cut bikini is between a full cut bikini bottom and a thong bikini, leaving a little more for the sun to tan.
Bikini Model Georgia Salpa
Recently at the Launch of a new bar in Dandelion, Irish Bikini Model Georgia Salpa showed off her favorite of the Brazilian bikinis, The Gold Clasp Bikini, which she recently picked for from us here at The Bikini Shop.ie Needless to say the picture was featured in several Irish papers.
Know as one of the biggest names in Ireland’s modeling pool of talent, Georgia Salpa has emerged as one of Ireland most sought after bikini Models. Check out these recent back stage photo’s, which show how even without any photo editing or fancy camera work, Georgia’s stunning presence shines through.

This morning we were up really early for a slot on TV3. Check it out:
I think it’s safe to say that our own Naomi Cullen found her calling in TV presenting and was total natural. Were hoping that none of the TV stations will swipe her from us, not sure we could ever replace her.
The models – Sarah McGoven, Dianna Donnelly and Georgia Salpa. All of which were fantastic and complimented the bikini’s incredibly. We have a few photo’s on the girls backstage and will post again on the blog in the future about how great they are.
Diana Donnelly is the winner of the Miss Universe Ireland 2009 Pagent! Twenty year old Diana was representing Club 92 and will be jetting off to the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas for the Miss universe Final on August 23, 2009.
With the Miss Universe Ireland final just around the corner bookies favorite to win Diana Donnelly is far out in front of second favorite Rozanna Purcell. With some bookies even call in Evens for her to win!

Stunning Diana Donnelly who is currently studying in UCD represents Miss Club 92, as a replacement for the Judy Kelleher who dropped out of the competition for personal reasons. Clearly Club 92 is full of very very pretty people, oh and it’s short listed for best club of the year award.
So the rest of us see the pictures, agree that they’re beautiful and think that they must wake up ever morning looking perfect. I’d say very few of us thing a single shoot in VIP magazine can take 4 days preparation and 9 hours to get perfect.
The “incident” referred to in the above Xpose clip is of Ingrid Marie Rivera (Miss Puerto Rico) 2008 which was investigated by police, relating to pepper spray was put in her make up and on her gown by another contestant.
“We thought at first it was an allergic reaction, or maybe nerves,” said pageant spokesman Harold Rosario. “But the second time, we knew it couldn’t have been a coincidence.” Later, Rivera’s garments and cosmetics tested positive for pepper spray.
Miss Puerto Rico Universe pageant director Magali Febles also told the AP that pageant officials were required to postpone the final day competition because of a bomb threat. Authorities said they searched the premises with dogs but did not discover any explosives.
So if you think beauty competitions are just pretty smiles and fun, think again, beauty is a very serious thing!
There’s been a slight change in the plans for sponsorship for the Miss Universe 2009 Ireland contest. www.TheBikiniShop.ie will no longer be sponsoring the whole bikini section but will still be featuring some of our bikinis in the bikini contest.
