 TheBikiniShop.ie, Portlaoise
Thursday April 22nd, 201o saw the launch of our parent company “Zatori Results” new warehouse premises. Combining the previous four warehouses in one 25,000 Sq Ft Building. The building is shared with our sister company (or should we say big brother company which might be more accurate) The Costume Shop.
Since it’s establishment, The Bikini Shop has expanded and grown far beyond anyones expectations, with thanks to all our loyal customers, our suppliers and of course our couriers for making sure the swimwear arrives on time at your door. With many international clients including some celeb clients in Beverly Hills, California the internet has made the reach of our small Irish operation far greater than ever imagined. We even have an office betting pool about which new country we can add to our list next (come on Hawaii!!!)
With it’s rapid growth, our warehouses were becoming a little cramped so we decided to move on up and give ourselves more space to grow, and make more room for new bikini brands to come on board.
Zatori Results Ltd., housing The Costume Shop, The Bikini Shop and splans for some new ventures have now moved to:
TheBikiniShop
Clonminam Industrial Estate,
Portlaoise,
Co. Laois.

 Poko Pano Cover Feature
Our 2010 Summer Collection from Poko Pano has been featured on the front cover of Look Magazine for the “Summer Hotlist”.
The swimsuit in question, “Caliente” is the perfect summer one-piece with the vibrant leaf pattern adding a splash of colour. The deep, cut away neckline gives a twist to the traditional one-piece swimsuit.

The Bikini Shop has compiled a quick list of tips to help you pick your perfect fitting swimwear for the summer. Always remember to show off your best assets and conceal the others.
Small Chest
- Look for tops with a touch of padding, or an under wired bikini that makes the most of a minimal bust line. Adjustable straps help to tailor the swimwear to your figure.
- Avoid tops with too much fabric or badly fitted. Bikini Separates help as you can create your custom fitted bikini look.
- Ruffles are big news this season so aim to get a bikini top with these as it’ll help create bulk.
 Caprice Ruffled Bikini
Large Chest
- Halter-top bikinis can be a good choice by offering support, while providing some cleavage.
- Look for one-piece swimsuits with some structure in the bust, such as soft foam cups or at least, a shelf bra.
- Straight cut bust styles such as a classic tank can look clean and sporty.
 Black & Cream Halter One-Piece
Short Legs or Torso
- Play up your figure by finding a one-piece swimsuit that is cut high on the thigh to make your legs appear longer. This high-cut also accentuates a small waist and minimises curvy hips.
- Vertical stripes can visually lengthen the body. Also, a printed top worn with a solid bikini bottom will draw the eye upward making you appear longer.
- A solid coloured, one-piece suit with a plunging neckline creates a long appearance.
 Black & White Frill Swimsuit
Long Body Shape
- Features or embellishments on the hip and bust line will help create focus points and curves. Metal Rings, jewels, ties and bows are all good options.
- Bright, vivid colours will help accentuate a long torso.
- If choosing a one- piece swimsuit, try a cut-out suit or monokini as it will break up a long torso like a bikini.
- Shorts, ruffled skirts and cover-ups will create curves on the hips, ideal for slim hips.
- Avoid vertical stripes, high necklines and dark, solid colours.
 Safari Sun Monokini
Broad shoulders
- Balance is the key word here. Play up the bottom of your torso and minimize the top.
- Wear bikini bottoms that have lots of colour and print. Buying bikini separates will give you the best choices.
 Smoothie Bikini
Plus size
- Lengthen your thigh with an adjustable ruche detail at the hip.
- Dark, cool colours are always a good choice.
- Swimsuits with dark, solid panels down each side of the torso and a patterned middle will slim the silhouette.
- Avoid bright colours like white, as well as neon fabrics.
- Bodyshaping or control swimwear is perfect for trimming the figure.

Trends this summer emerging from Miami Fashion Week are set to revolve around several key features:
The one- shoulder bikini is a major look this summer, giving a twist on the traditional one-piece swimsuit and halterneck lines.
Cut-away trends from the high-street have filtered into the swimwear ranges and most designers are offering cut away versions of the monokini and bikini.
The one-piece (all in one) swimsuit and tankini are also seeing a rise in popularity, with the updated designs using vivid colours such as fuschia, emerald green, purple, and sapphire blue. Animal and tribal patterns also feature heavily on swimwear.
The high street feminine tones also filtered its way into swimwear designs so expect to see ruffles, floral patterns, beading and sequins on bikinis this summer.
